The remake series of the creation of Ricky Gervais will be produced by Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon Prime Video Australia is redoing The office as a new version of the series, this time with a woman in the role that Ricky Gervais first made famous. It will star Felicity Ward.

Gervais’ David Brent will become Hannah Howard in the series, with Ward putting his own spin on the team’s mismanagement at packaging company Flinley Craddick. When she gets word from head office that they’re closing her branch and making everyone work from home, she goes into survival mode and makes promises she can’t keep to keep her ‘work family’ together.


Ward is best known as a comedian and for the series Spicks and Specks and The Ronnie Johns Half Hour. Also appeared in wakefield and Los tontos.
The additional cast includes Edith Poor, Steen Raskopoulos, Shari Sebbens, Josh Thomson, Jonny Brugh, Pallavi Sharda, Susan Ling Young, Raj Labade, Lucy Schmit and Firass Dirani.

This is the thirteenth remake of the show and the first to have a female lead. In the US, Michael Scott of Steve Carell He is one of the most famous characters in sitcoms.
