Til Schweiger had to cancel the participation in the premiere of his new film – probably because of food poisoning.
On Tuesday evening (November 2nd) the premiere party for Til Schweiger’s (57) new film “The rescue of the world we know” takes place in Essen – but the director and leading actor will shine with absence. Schweiger signed off via Instagram. “I’ve upset my stomach and unfortunately I’m lying flat. The doctor suspects food poisoning.”
Was it an oyster?
Schweiger provided the possible reason for the upset stomach rather involuntarily on Instagram. There that shows him trying his first oyster. His daughters Luna (24) and Emma (19) apparently convinced him to eat one of the slippery clams for the first time in his life. Schweiger grimaces and quickly rinses with wine. “Fishy!” is his conclusion.
In “The Rescue of the Known World”, Til Schweiger plays a single father who wants to place his bi-polar, 18-year-old son in a therapy facility after his suicide attempt.
