After a year, the “Selling Sunset” real estate agent and his girlfriend Marie-Lou Nürk separated. The big distance was to blame.
Jason Oppenheim (46) and Marie-Lou Nürk (25) separated after about a year. The relationship between the young German and the real estate agent known from “Selling Sunset” caused a stir in company and fan circles. The reason for the separation is not the big age difference – but the great distance.
On Instagram, Oppenheim posted a photo in his stories in which the two look out to sea. “While we still love and care for each other, the distance between us has proven to be too great a challenge to bridge,” the 46-year-old wrote. The two would remain close friends, continuing to talk a lot and support each other. Oppenheim continues: “We thank everyone for their support for our relationship.”
Marie-Lou Nürk works as a model, currently lives in Paris and has commuted back and forth between the French capital and Los Angeles, California since the relationship. The two shared a 500-square-foot apartment valued at $18 million.
He even preferred them to the Oppenheim Group
The 25-year-old dated the real estate mogul for a year after they met on a vacation in July 2022. As can be seen in the sixth season of the reality show, Oppenheim even gave his company, the brokerage agency The Oppenheim Group, to a representative for three weeks for a trip to Europe with his girlfriend – very untypical for the “businessman”. Oppenheim also emphasized in May that he and Nürk were very much in love despite the long-distance relationship.
