Sophie-Alexandra Princess of Bavaria is now learning Bavarian after her marriage to Ludwig Prince of Bavaria – with the help of the cult series “Monaco Franze”. “I am very amused when the word ‘Spezi’ is mentioned,” said the Neu-Wittelsbacher from a Canadian-Dutch family of the magazine “Gala”. She is already happy to say hello with a hearty “Servus”: “That has already become part of my vocabulary.”
With her husband she is currently still speaking a mishmash of languages, the Princess of Bavaria reported to the “Gala”: “We already speak a little “Denglisch”, but my German is getting better every day.”
As Sophie-Alexandra Evekink, the political and criminal scientist had met the great-great-grandson of the last King of Bavaria, Ludwig III, on Christmas Eve 2022. legally married. The pompous church wedding with around 1000 guests in Munich followed almost two weeks ago.
Many onlookers also watched as the bride was greeted in a long white lace dress on Odeonsplatz by Munich Archbishop and Cardinal Reinhard Marx and then moved into the Theatinerkirche to the sounds of the Bavarian anthem and the ringing of the bells.
