“The Simpsons on Plusniversary” is the third in a series of The Yellow Family shorts on Disney +, which stand out for being crossovers with prominent brands and titles on the platform.
The most recently released animated short by the service was “The Good, The Bart, and The Loki”, a themed piece related to Marvel and the series “Loki”, premiered in July, with the God of Mischief from Tom Hiddleston, giving voice to his character. The first in the series of shorts was “Maggie Simpson in ‘The Force Awakens from Her Nap'”, with the theme of Star Wars.
“The Simpson” is an animated sitcom for adults created by Matt Groening which debuted on Fox in 1989. It follows the satirical adventures of a working-class family in the misfit town of Springfield.
The series, produced by Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Television Animation, with Groening, James L. Brooks, Al Jean and Matt Selman serving as executive producers, returned for its 33rd season on September 26 and has already been renewed for the 34th.
The two shorts of The Simpson previously published are currently available at Disney+.
