Rap superstar and entrepreneur Jay-Z has got an Instagram account. The 51-year-old published his first post on Tuesday – a movie poster for the Netflix western “The Harder They Fall”, for which Jay-Z wrote the soundtrack and worked as a producer.
He also uploaded a suitable story with a countdown to the Netflix premiere. As a profile picture, the rapper set a youth photo of himself, on which he can be seen with a striking gold chain.
The verified account garnered over a million subscribers in less than a day. Jay-Z himself has only followed one person so far: his wife Beyoncé.
The musician, whose real name is Shawn Carter, had previously avoided the social network. However, he has had a Twitter account since 2008.
