The Buenos Aires Tourism Entity announced that the VIII day of InnovaturBA 2023 will be held. It will seek to enhance the resilience of the sector.
Under the slogan “Challenges of the tourism sector facing new trends”, the focus of the VIII InnovaturBA conference will be on the importance of education, technology, sustainability and professional training as key elements for the development of the sector. Based on the fact that for Tourism to prosper, a properly trained and competent workforce is needed, the relationship of these axes with tourism activity will be deepened, aligning themselves with the 2030 Agenda of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

“In recent times, the permanent reinvention in tourism has been essential for the survival of the sector. Currently, from Entur we continue looking for new tools so that our activity finds facilities and alternatives that lead to consolidate it as one of the main industries for the economic recovery not only of our City, but also of the entire country”, expressed Lucas Delfino, president of the Tourism Entity of the City of Buenos Aires.

In this sense, it is worth mentioning that the meeting is aimed at authorities, companies and entrepreneurs in the tourism sector, as well as associations, universities, students, tourism professionals, public and private organizations linked to tourism and the general public. Officials from the General Secretariat and International Relations, from the Tourism Board of the City of Buenos Aires, representatives of chambers, associations, renowned speakers and industry leaders will participate.

CABA Tourism
InnovaturBA is the first tourism innovation program promoted by a local government, being a pioneer both in Argentina and in Latin America. This is an initiative of the Tourism Entity of the City of Buenos Aires, through its Training, Quality, Innovation and Accessibility Sub-management belonging to the Tourism Competitiveness and Regulation Management of the General Directorate of Tourism Development. The meeting has been running consecutively for seven years and its purpose is to contribute to the transformation and positioning of the City of Buenos Aires as a smart and resilient tourist destination in the national and international market.
