And the diva, laughing, replied: “Well, what do you want me to do, Marcela? They are very affectionate with us, the people of Caña, but I don’t know where this came from, I didn’t know they were making a statue either.”

The artist who made the statue is from Cordoba Daniel Melerowhich was summoned to honor the diva in the celebration for the 121 years of the town of Santa Fe.

Give him a photo of me and have him take me back because I didn’t recognize myself’”.

Later, Mirtha thanked the gesture of the municipality of her hometown. “The idea is very good, I am very grateful to the people of Cañas, because they adore me and I adore them, it is a wonderful town,” she said to close the topic of the controversial statue.
