The streaming platform officially announced the start of filming with the first images of the actor characterized as the former president.
In the last weeks Amazon Prime Video confirmed the realization of a biographical series on the life of the former President Carlos Menem. This production will tell details about his mandate and about his family, it was announced under the name “Follow me!”. Now the streaming platform shared the first official images and apparently the series will bear the name of “Menem”.

The series that is being worked on since 2020 will have eight episodes directed by Ariel Winograd and will have Leonardo Sbaragliaas the person in charge of representing the former president in this biopic series.

Amazon Prime Video’s announcement about Menem’s series
“With charisma you are born, power is built. The series of the man who marked Argentina in the 90s, #Menem, began filming,” the shared message indicates.
Starring Leonardo Sbaraglia and with the participation of Juan Minujín, Griselda Siciliani, Jorgelina Aruzzi, Marco Antonio Caponi, Agustín Sullivan, Cumelén Sanz and Campi, among others.

The production would focus on his years as president and could take inspiration from the book of Gabriela Cerrutti: The boss, life and work of Carlos Saúl Menem.
The series began production in 2020.by the producer Mariano Varela and had authorization from Menem himself. Upon death, Zulemite took the reins of production but part of the ex-president’s family spoke out against since they had not given their authorization to carry out the fiction.
There is still no confirmed date for the premiere of this new series of Amazon Prime Videobut from the streaming platform they expect the premiere to be in the first quarter of 2024.
