Brad Ingelsby returns to the American premium cable signal after the success starring Kate Winslet.
Brad Ingelsby go back to HBO after being responsible for the success starring Kate Winslet Mare of Easttown. This time it will be with a miniseries starring Mark Ruffalo, according to The Hollywood Reporter portal. In addition to starring, the actor will be one of the executive producers.

The crime-scene series had been in the works long before the writers’ strike began, and casting decisions were made before then as well. No further development has occurred since the strike began in early May, and there is no start date for production yet.


The return of Brad Ingelsby and Mark Ruffalo to HBO
The untitled series marks the return to HBO for both Ruffalo and Ingelsby. The actor won an Emmy in 2020 for the limited series I Know This Much Is True and also starred in the 2014 film The Normal Heart (for which he also earned an Emmy nomination). Ingelsby created and executive produced Mare of Easttown for HBOwhich won four Emmy Awards and earned Ingelsby a writing nomination.
The independent studio Wiip, which was behind Mare of Easttownwill produce the new series. Jeremiah Zagar (We the Animals, Netflix’s Hustle) will direct.
