Nova Rock – Third day of the festival started hard and hot

Musically, fans of healthy heaviness initially got their money’s worth: All Faces Down from Vienna filled the crowd on the Blue Stage with sound, and Lionheart unleashed unbridled hardcore on the Red Stage. A rather unusual exchange between artist and audience then took place at Barns Courtney: The British musician, who wanted to score points with mischievous charm and bluesy rock, took two mobile phones out of the crowd – or rather, they were peppered at him. After all, Courtney said he wanted to take a picture of all these wonderful people. The only problem: “The password? Face ID?” A few 0’s and 1’s yelled out later, the device unlocked and the crowd crowded in front of the stage to fit in the frame. That’s how rock’n’roll works.

In terms of style, however, the third day should by no means be limited to that: German rap with Casper was just as popular as well-hung punk sounds with Feine Sahne Fischfilet.
