In Germany, the corona incidence is increasing for the sixth day in a row, according to information from the RKI. The number of new infections is around one and a half times as high as last Monday.
For the sixth time in a row, the 7-day incidence has increased. According to the Robert Koch Institute on Monday morning, it was 6.4 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days. The health authorities in Germany reported 324 new corona infections to the RKI within one day. That comes from numbers from Monday morning, which reflect that of 4:13 a.m. For comparison: a week ago the value was 212 infections.
Two corona deaths within 24 hours
According to the new information, 2 deaths were recorded across Germany within 24 hours. A week ago it was 1 dead. The RKI has counted 3,736,489 detected infections with Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic. The actual total number is likely to be significantly higher, as many infections are not detected.
The RKI stated the number of those who had recovered at 3,635,100. The number of people who died with or with a proven infection with Sars-CoV-2 rose to 91,233.
