James Cameron’s movies will arrive later than expected, while the new Deadpool movie has its release earlier.
Disney made major changes to its theatrical release schedule. The studio announced a series of changes Tuesday, led by the news that it is scheduling two movies from Star Wars by 2026 and delaying avatar 3 for one year, from December 2024 to December 2025. In addition, avatar 4 will now hit theaters in December 2029, followed by avatar 5 in December 2031, meaning each will now open three years later than previously announced.
