Homme, also co-founder of the group Eagles of Death Metalhe was confident about overcoming the disease: “I will remember it as something screwed up, but it will have made me better,” he said, in statements to Revolver.


“There are a lot of things I want to do and a lot of people I want to do them with,” said the 50-year-old musician, a world reference in stoner rock since the days of Kyuss, the group he led from 1987 until its dissolution in 1995.
Homme also referred to the legal dispute he has with his ex-wife, the singer and guitarist brody dalleabout the custody of their three children, and for which both have accused each other of physical abuse.
“They have been the darkest four years of my life. I will consider my new life from all those pieces,” he reflected, who in the coming days will premiere the album “In Times New Roman” with his historic group before embarking on a new tour across the United States and Canada in August.
