A group of researchers from the USA managed to develop a method contraceptive long-lasting for cats, which achieves cancel ovulation by applying a one-time vaccine. This could become an alternative treatment for control the feline populationwithout the need to reach a surgical sterilization in our pets.
Although there are already pills and inoculables to prevent pregnancy in these animals, the long-lasting effects are short. This new method it would be long term.
