Singer: Rea Garvey: “My faith sustains me”

He grew up in a Catholic family. The musician says that his faith has lasted to this day, albeit in a different form.

For Irish singer Rea Garvey, faith makes many things in life easier. “That supports me, that guides me, that holds me, that catches me and my faith makes many things easier because I’m not afraid,” said the 50-year-old on the show “Music Made in Germany” of the private Rhineland- Palatinate radio station RPR1. The singer did not specify exactly what he believes in. Everyone has to find their own faith. “It would be difficult to try to convince others of your faith, and I don’t try that either.”

The singer, who worked as a TV judge on the casting show “The Voice of Germany” until the last season, grew up in a very traditional Catholic family. However, his faith has often changed over time and is no longer what he learned as a child.
