The Municipality of La Plata arranged a schedule full of activities that will take place until Tuesday in different cultural centers, theaters, cinemas and museums in the city.
In a statement, it was reported that a music show oriented towards singing and piano will take place today from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Julio López cultural center (64 and 137) by the Melodía Institute and open to the public, while At 3:00 p.m. there will be an open tango and milonga class in the roundabout of Plaza San Martín (7 and 53).
Meanwhile, tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. at the Islas Malvinas cultural center (19 and 51) the children’s play “Ecos, guardians of the Earth” will be presented, winner of the Municipal Comedy Contest, while on Monday holiday at 3:00 p.m. circus show “Rukuka” in the amphitheater of the Republic of Children.
On Sunday at 6:30 p.m. the film “Silencio en la ribera” will be shown at the Select cinema on Pasaje Dardo Rocha (7 and 50), while at 8:30 p.m. the film “Los Inútiles” will be played.
In parallel, in the Eco Select room of the Islas Malvinas cultural center, “Bill 79” and “Stay Dog” and “Stay Dog” will be played on Sunday at 6 pm and the Russian film “Zerkalo” will be played at 8 pm.
Regarding exhibitions in local museums, it was reported that the samples “Where the magic happens” and “Retrospective” are still available in Room C and Room A of the same space.
The exhibition “Transmuting matter” will also continue in force at the MUGAFO museum with rooms open from 10 am to 8 pm; and at MACLA and at MUMART, artistic works will be exhibited in their different spaces.
For those who wish to enjoy the outdoors, the “Movete en Bici” program will continue, with free bicycle loan at the fixed stations of Plaza San Martín (7 and 50), Plaza Malvinas (19 and 51) and Parque San Martín (25 and 50) on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and in the Paseo del Bosque on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Likewise, there will be a guided tour framed in “Bicitando la Ciudad” in which you will be able to see the main characteristics of the Historical Axis today at 2:30 p.m. from the fixed point located in the Museum of Natural Sciences.
On the other hand, the walking tour of the “Walking Tour” initiative will take place on Tuesday at 11 from Plaza Moreno (13 and 50), while “Myths and Legends from La Plata” will be added today and Monday at 11 from the founding stone and a special edition on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. to learn about the Children’s Republic.
In addition, residents and tourists will be able to enjoy the renovated piers of Paseo del Bosque and Parque Saavedra, with the possibility of renting boats, and those who visit the Children’s Republic will have mechanical games, boat rides, tours of the different buildings of the property and more proposals.
