In this framework, a new site called Journalists in the cinema (www.periodistasenelcine.com) proposes a journey through the representation of journalism on the big screen with a ranking of the best films (headed by The citizenby Orson Welles) and an interactive database that allows you to explore more than 3,000 titles from the silent era to the present.

There is no shortage of Hollywood classics on the web (such as it happened one nightwith Clark Gable, or rock chains, starring Kirk Douglas) but also outstanding Mexican, Argentine or French cinema. Many of the titles have critical files where the image that the film makes of the journalist is discussed, be it as a hero, villain, sensationalist or defense attorney.
The page also includes links to watch those royalty-free films online.
journalists in the cinema is a project of the journalists Manuel Barrientos and Federico Poore, who created the database from previous works and information from national film libraries.
