At the beginning of May, the well-known couple announced their new baby happiness. Child number two from Mario Götze and his wife Ann-Kathrin is on the way. The official confirmation was made by the professional footballer’s club.
After Eintracht Frankfurt entered the DFB Cup final, for which he has been playing since 2022, the club announced via Twitter: “Second good news of the day: Mario Götze will be a father again! Congratulations to you and your wife Ann-Kathrin”. Götze had previously heated up the rumor mill himself in an interview with the private broadcaster Sky when his answer to the baby rumors was “There could be something to it”.
Mario and Ann-Kathrin Götze became parents of a little son named Rome for the first time in 2020. The couple got married in a registry office in 2018, and a big celebration followed a year later.
So far, the 33-year-old has not shown her new baby bump. The influencer, who posts many photos of herself for professional reasons, always cleverly hid the ball behind designer bags, in a hunched posture or with back-focused images. But now Ann-Kathrin shares her new happiness with her 1.8 million followers on Instagram.

Inspired by the singer Rihanna, who always flaunts her baby bump and is also expecting her second child, the focus of the outfit choice is the new addition to the family. Her caption also refers to the 35-year-old singer: “Riri taught us,” writes Götze to the picture in a pink top with matching pants.
According to the “Bild” newspaper, the second child in the Götze household will be a little girl and will see the light of day in just a few months. The newspaper also reports that she claims to have learned from the couple’s immediate surroundings that Götze was already in the sixth month.
