In her new film she plays the confident Maddie, who is supposed to date the much younger, uptight Percy. How does the actress feel about big age gaps in relationships?
US actress Jennifer Lawrence (32) thinks that relationships between older women and younger men can work. “I think there are relationships with big age differences that are just wonderful and admirable,” she told the German Press Agency. They are fabulous.
The Hollywood star (“The Hunger Games”) plays the self-confident Maddie in her new film “No Hard Feelings”, who is hired by wealthy helicopter parents to date the much younger, uptight Percy (Andrew Feldman), as it was in of the announcement about the film. “I think Maddie and Percy have a wonderful effect on each other,” Lawrence said.
For fellow actor Andrew Feldman, age is just one aspect of a relationship. “If you’re really connected and communicating healthy, I think there are very few reasons not to be in a relationship,” said the 21-year-old.
The comedy by director Gene Stupnitsky opens in German cinemas on Thursday (June 22).
