After her appearance on “Always Again on Sundays”, singer Annemarie Eilfeld was hospitalized. She had suffered heat stroke from the high temperatures.
On Sunday, Annemarie Eilfeld was still on the ARD program “Always Sundays” and presented her new song. A day later, however, the fans were worried about the singer: Eilfeld posted a picture from the hospital in her Instagram story with an infusion in her arm.
“Had to go to the hospital this morning – couldn’t even keep water in it yesterday and today and was totally powerless,” she wrote, but also gave the all-clear: “But don’t worry, everyone here is doing their best to help me.” The “Bild” told the 33-year-old that apparently the heat had pulled the ground from under her feet during the television appearance. The doctors assumed “heat stroke in connection with too much stress”.
Pop singer Annemarie Eilfeld suffers heat stroke
During the Schlager show by moderator Stefan Mross from Europapark Rust, Eilfeld was exposed to temperatures of 30 degrees and probably drank too little. The result: dehydration. Eilfeld only noticed that in the evening, when she was back home in Saxony-Anhalt – with nausea, headaches and general malaise.
Hits with staying power
Chart perennial: Apache 207 is the new number one – but it has tough competition
“I had to vomit all the time and could no longer stand. It went really badly downhill with me,” she described her physical condition to “Bild”. Her mother then took her to the emergency room early Monday morning. For the time being, Eilfeld has to remain in the Zerbst clinic for observation and further examinations. In the future, the singer, who became known in 2009 through her participation in the sixth season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, wants to be more careful in the heat. Above all, this means looking for shade more often and drinking more fluids.
