Adel: Laughing with dad – Palace congratulates William on 41st birthday

The Prince of Wales has many social ambitions. But today William is celebrating his birthday. The family sends congratulations via Twitter.

Prince William has received congratulations from the Royal Family on his 41st birthday. “Today we wish the Prince of Wales a very happy birthday,” the royal family account tweeted, naming William’s official title. For this purpose, the palace sent a photo in which the British heir to the throne, his father King Charles III. puts on the king’s mantle, both laugh. The scene probably comes from a rehearsal for Charles’ coronation: because both men are wearing a suit and tie, at the ceremony on May 6th they had on festive robes and looked serious the whole time.

In a rare interview with The Sunday Times, William recently announced his intention to build council housing on his lands in the Duchy of Cornwall. The heir to the throne also pledged that he would make it his mission to end homelessness in Britain. The exact details of his project will only be known later.

William is a patron of the charity Centrepoint, which looks after young homeless people. His mother, Princess Diana, took him to a homeless shelter when he was eleven.

Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales was born on June 21, 1982 at 9:03 p.m. (local time) in London’s St. Mary’s Hospital. The future king is married to Princess Kate. The couple now has three children: Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5).
