Schedule of activities of the Winter Holidays

Emerging side (Saturday 8, 15 and 22 July)

• 11 and 12:30 pm Guided circuit “Tango culture”. It is a tour of Villa Crespo intended for adults that allows knowing details of the Buenos Aires identity through its music. The circuit begins at Gurruchaga Square (Gurruchaga 1040) and ends at the Osvaldo Pugliese Monument.
• 11:30 a.m. Inclusive visit: “Historical center”. An inclusive guided walk through the Historic Center, which will allow you to know in depth the most emblematic places of the origins of the City and the country. It has interpreters in Argentine Sign Language throughout the tour. The circuit is accessible for people in wheelchairs.
• 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Guided circuit “Fantastic trip to the bohemian life of 1900”. It is a dramatized tour for children that shows the most representative sites of the Boedo neighborhood of popular art. During the circuit, which begins at the Homero Manzi corner, a tour guide, a bandoneon player, a clown, a fortune teller, a tightrope walker and other legendary characters will evoke the old bars of the neighborhood, the murga, the carnival and its tango imprint on the figures of Mercedes Simone, Osvaldo Pugliese and Carlos Gardel.
• 4 and 5:30 p.m. Photographic circuit “History and democracy in Av. de Mayo”. In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the return to democracy, this tour for young people will begin in Congress and end in Plaza de Mayo, allowing you to take pictures of the historical sites located along one of the main avenues of the City. It is worth mentioning that those who arrive at the restaurants “El Imparcial” and “El Globo” with the identification bracelet of participation in the guided tours, will have a 15% discount on their consumption.

Traditional side (Sunday 9, 16 and 23 July)

• 11 and 12:30 p.m. Guided tour “Historical Center”. This itinerary, designed for the adult segment, runs through the nerve center of the City of Buenos Aires to discover the most emblematic places through its history, culture, and architecture. The tour begins at Florida 50 and ends at Casa Rosada, in front of Plaza de Mayo.
• 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Guided circuit “The immigrants who populated La Boca”. Through this dramatized tour intended for children, visitors will be able to relive the history of one of the most distinctive neighborhoods in the City. In the circuit, which begins at Av. Don Pedro de Mendoza 1900, tourist guides and a group of actors will lead visitors through the streets of the neighborhood to discover some of the most representative characters of the great wave of European immigration.
• 4 and 5:30 p.m. Guided circuit “The architecture of the embassies of Buenos Aires”. This tour, which has the Plaza Grand Bourg as a meeting point, offers young people to learn in detail the structure of the embassies located in the neighborhoods of Palermo and Recoleta.

• On Wednesdays 12, 19 and 26, the Meet Vincent Van Gogh exhibition located in the Polo Field (Av. del Libertador 4096), will offer 150 2-for-1 benefits for half-hour income.

• On July 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22, the Cassará Building, located at Av. de Mayo 1190, will offer free access from 4 to 7 p.m. to those who register in advance. In the place, the “LEISURE” exhibition is carried out, in which the artists Marcella Casal, Gastón Bejarano, Soledad Miguens and Adriana Cerviño exhibit various works that can be discovered throughout this self-guided visit.
• On Saturdays 15 and 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Drawing the City proposal will be available, aimed at children between 4 and 10 years of age. The activity, which will take place in front of the CAT Móvil, offers a space for children to draw or color their own obelisk or dome of the City. At the end, they will be given a number and the draw will be held for the participants. The winner will receive a voucher for a tourist experience to enjoy with the family. It is worth mentioning that the activity is with limited places on a first-come, first-served basis.
• On Saturdays 15 and 22 from 4:00 p.m., there will be a musical show by the Brass ensemble DGEART, a group of moving winds that specializes in interventions in public spaces. The event will take place at the Obelisk and is open to the public.
