With an incredible sunny day, Chapelco opened its slopes to start a winter with great expectations.

The Ski and Snowboard School began to give classes for adults and children, the Nursery School and the Snow Garden were set up and promotional classes for beginners were offered on their first day.
Snowmobile circuits, sleigh rides with huskies, and snowshoe walks also began.
The skiers enjoyed the snow and the shelters, stopping to replenish energy in the gastronomic inns that are located in the areas enabled up to now.
The Graef Refuge inaugurated the expansion of its hostel, which from this winter will increase the service space by 40%.

Chapelco posted record pre-sales for lift passes, ski and snowboard lessons, and equipment rentals in the months leading up to the opening.
A significant influx of visitors is expected during the winter of 2023, coming from Argentina and countries such as Brazil, Chile and Uruguay, where important promotional and commercial trips were made.
Almost 40 weekly flights
Next Monday, July 3, the first direct flight from Buenos Aires of the Jet Smart company will arrive at Chapelco airport, which will inaugurate the route to San Martín de los Andes offering a service low cost, with a frequency of three weekly flights.
This is in addition to the 38 weekly flights that Aerolíneas Argentinas continues to offer, direct from Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario and São Paulo, Brazil.
