Kit Harington and Rose Leslie from Game of Thrones are parents for the second time

A rep for the stars confirmed the news to People magazine, noting that the couple is “delighted to have welcomed a girl into the family”.

Harington explained to the host that their mindset was different this time than it was when they were preparing for their first child.

“I’m terrified. You know, with the first baby, you’re like walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months, well, man is, anyway,” he joked. “But this time, the reality check is much shorter. You get practical very quickly.”

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight while promoting his series Extrapolations on AppleTV+, which highlights the effects of climate change in the near future, Harington shared that he and Leslie regularly talk about climate change and what it means for their children’s futures.

“I see it in some ways as our parents’ generation not realizing it,” he told the publication. “We are becoming very conscious. And it would be our duty, and the duty of my children, to see to it. It will be the great challenge of his generation, but it is still the challenge of ours as well”.

The actors of game of Thrones they first met on the set of the hit HBO series, in which they played Jon Snow and Ygritte, who became romantically involved before Leslie left the fantasy drama. Harington and Leslie were married in 2018 near a Scottish castle owned by the latter’s family.
