King Charles and Queen Camilla have been in Edinburgh since Monday this week during the so-called “Royal Week” which takes place every early July to take part in certain traditional ceremonies. This usually involves the ritual delivery of keys by city and Scottish Parliament dignitaries to the Royal Palace of Holyrood House, the monarch’s residence in the Scottish capital.
