Paths and Flavors 2023: a new edition arrives with more than 500 producers

From Thursday, July 6 to Sunday, July 9, you can enjoy the 17th edition of the gastronomic fair at La Rural de Palermo.

One of the most anticipated events by food producers, artisans, cooks, entrepreneurs, but also by lovers of Argentine culture and gastronomyarrives today with the 17th edition of the Caminos y Sabores fair. From the Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 Julywill be held in The Rural of PalermoCity of Buenos Aires (CABA).

the fair is divided into nine thematic paths: Federal, Sweets, Picadas, Fruits of the Earth, Infusions, Oils and Dressings, Drinks, Tourism and Tradition and Your Kitchen. In this sense, in the tour of each one of them you can learn about the work of more than 500 exhibitors, including food and beverage producers, artisans and entrepreneurs from all over the country, from 19 regional provinces.

The public chooses their favorite product

In this edition, the contest returns “Taste Experiences”. As in the last edition, it will be the public who chooses Blonde Beer and Yerba Mate with Palo. To participate in this experience, you must visit the Hall of Taste during the thursday and friday. This tasting will be coordinated by the Sensory Analysis Laboratory of the Physical and Sensory Analysis Area of ​​the Institute of Food Technology (ITA).

For their part, the categories: Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Family Dulce de Leche, Semi-hard cow’s cheese, coarsely chopped salami and Honey bee they will be analyzed by expert tasters from the Sensory Analysis Laboratory of the Faculty of Agronomy of the UBA.

Unlike other editions, this year was included a distinction to the “Innovative Product 2023”. It is an election where the public You can participate through a QR code. Visitors will enter and vote among a list of products, choosing the most innovative. In turn, with your vote you will be participating in product raffles.

Caminos y Sabores 2023: tickets and schedules

The fair can be visited from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 July, from 12 to 20 hours in the Rural de Palermo. The entrance is through Av. Sarmiento 2704.

Ticket value:

  • General: $2,000.
  • Retirees: $1000.
  • Minors 16 years old: They enter free with an adult.
  • People with disabilities enter free with a companion presenting the corresponding certificate.

Tickets can be purchased through the ticket offices of the property and by Ticketek.

Chefs who will be present

The four days that the event lasts, there will be classes by 50 renowned chefs and a Food Court with stalls to taste local dishes and drinks.

Among the prominent chefs who will put into action the stoves of Cocina Verde and Cocina Fehgra to prepare the typical dishes of their regions, provinces and towns, there are: Dolli Irigoyen, Narda Lepes, Chantal Abad, Ximena Sáenz, Madame Papin, Paco Almeida, Andrea González, Juan Manuel Herrera and El Gordo Cocina.

In turn, in this edition every noon is added a new Space, “El Gordo Cooks Very Quickly”with quick, delicious and very easy preparations such as Corn Pancakes, Mushroom Sandwiches, Roasted Bell Pepper Hummus and Pickled White Beans with Grilled Bread.
