The first Minister Justin Trudeau resorted to Twitter to try to convince the American pop star Taylor Swift that he adds a few stops to his tour “Eras Tour” in Canadaafter he announced 14 new dates in Europe.

“It’s me, hello. I know some places in Canada would love to have you. So don’t be another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon”, Trudeau said, responding late Wednesday to an earlier tweet from Swift announcing new tour dates. It is worth mentioning that Swift’s song “Cruel Summer” (Cruel Summer), released in 2019is being performed on tour and was more successful this year than when it first appeared on their album “Lover”.

The tour, which kicked off in March in Arizonaincludes more than 100 concerts until the summer of 2024 in United States, Mexico, Europe, Asia and Australiabut none in Canada.
