The grieving mother also explained that the dealers even knew that the pills were adulterated. “But they sold them to him anyway.” She wants everyone who sells and buys something like this to know: “My son is gone forever.”

Fentanyl is a man-made drug. It is around 50 times stronger than heroin and widely used in the US. US rapper Coolio also died of a fentanyl overdose last year. Since Leandro’s death, Drena De Niro has posted many pictures and remembered the good times with her son.
