Boeuf Bourguignon
Classic dish that you will find in any French restaurant. A slow-cooked meat stew in wine. To do this, the meat must be marinated in red wine, aromatic herbs, onions and bacon, for at least six hours (some even leave it overnight). Then it is taken to the pot and cooked over low heat, where carrots and other ingredients are added. Served with white rice or potatoes. Ideal for winter.
Duck confit
This is an old way of preserving duck legs, typical of the south of France. Salt the meat first and then let it rest overnight. The fat from the thighs melts away and is preserved until the next day. The next day the duck thighs are cooked over low heat in their own fat and once cold, they are browned. Store it with this same fat in a jar.
