As part of its commitment, the Iguazú Grand hotel has continued to sponsor the Provincial School No. 837 “Daniel Eytan” for several years, working closely with the institution and the students. On this occasion, the Iguazú Grand hotel has been the scene of an educational experience that aims to provide 11 and 12-year-old children, sixth and seventh grade students of said school, a broader vision of the world of work and promote their permanence in the educational system.

The program took place on the morning of July 5, where it allowed students to explore the different departments of the hotel through a participatory “site inspection”. During the visit program, the young people had access to three fundamental departments: laundry, kitchen and rooms, where they were able to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of hotels, learn about the key areas of the hotel and discover tasks, functions and trades that they might not have considered. previously.

Each area manager who participated in the visit was previously trained to provide participatory explanations and tell information in an anecdotal way, with the aim of capturing the attention and arousing the curiosity of the children.

In this exciting project, Cuenca del Plata Turismo joined Grand Hotels Lux to provide logistical support through the bus transfer of the 50 participating children and teachers. Thanks to this valuable collaboration, the students of the Provincial School No. 837 “Daniel Eytan” were able to enjoy a safe and comfortable trip to the Iguazú Grand hotel, where they had an unforgettable experience.

The tour began with a warm welcome, in which the hotel employees greeted the students with a round of applause. To further enrich this experience, the students were treated to a delicious and complete breakfast at the hotel.

During the day, the children have had the opportunity to interact with the employees, who have shared their knowledge and work experiences and answered the students’ questions, inspiring and conveying the importance of education and personal growth.

Finally, the day ended with the delivery of diplomas to the participating students, recognizing their commitment and dedication to take advantage of this unique opportunity. In addition, they were given gifts as a reminder of their experience at the Iguazú Grand.
