american actor Nicolas Cage will receive a lifetime achievement award “Cheval Noir” from the “Fantasy Film Festival” which will take place between July 20 and August 9 in Montreal, Canada, reported the international press.
According to The Hollywood Reporter site, the award to Cage is due to his four decades of presence in Hollywood, which includes his participation in films such as “Sympathy for the Devil”, “Ghost Rider” and “Goodbye Las Vegas”.
But, in addition, this year he returned to the screen with “Renfield: Vampire Wizard”film directed by chris mckay which proposes a contemporary twist full of black humor and small doses of action to resume the story of the emblematic “Prince of Darkness”.
The festival, dedicated to the fantasy and drama genre that takes place every year in Canada, brings together film productions from Asia, Europe and America.
This year, the Festival will open its 27th edition with Pascal Plante’s “Red Rooms”, a French-language thriller about a woman’s obsession with a high-profile serial killer case. The genre film, starring Maxwell McCabe-Lokos and Juliette Gariépy.
