According to Bezzel, he has wanted to play in the crime series for a long time. Now it worked – and the actor is very happy about it.
Sebastian Bezzel (“Rehragout-Rendezvous”), known from the Eberhofer crime films, will soon be a guest star on the ZDF series “München Mord”. This week was filmed in Munich-Schwabing.
In the case with the working title “Nix für Angsthasen”, Bezzel plays a citizen who was once celebrated in the press as an everyday hero: Matthias Hämmerle had prevented a kiosk owner from being attacked with his courageous intervention. Another, who had helped him to apprehend the perpetrator, was just found dead shortly after the perpetrator’s release from prison. And now, Hämmerle concludes, it’s his turn. That’s why he pretends to be a fake police officer.
Bezzel is excited
For the 52-year-old Bezzel, shooting with Alexander Held, Bernadette Heerwagen and Marcus Mittermeier is “almost a class reunion,” as he said in the notes. He knows half of the crew, “I’ve already shot with Bernadette and Alexander and played football with Marcus at his annual charity tournament in Regensburg. I really wanted to take part here. Now it’s finally worked out.”
His character is very exciting, I didn’t think much about it, but thwarted the attack, said Bezzel. “Since then he’s been cursing his good deed because he’s just scared. I find it so interesting that he’s so terrified and completely overreacts.”
“Nothing for cowards” is the 19th adventure of the three weird “Munich Murder” investigators Flierl (Army Car), Neuhauser (Mittermeier) and Schaller (Hero). The script was written by Matthias Kiefersauer and Alexander Liegl, and Kiefersauer is also directing. The broadcast date has not yet been determined. For the “Munich Murder” team, this year’s shooting is a pleasant change in terms of weather. So far they had mostly been in front of the camera for the successful series in the cold season.
