The jury, comprising by Damien Betular, Dolli irigoyen and Pamela Villar, was inclined after his good performances in the last Elimination Gala of the cycle led by Paula Chaves, leaving Emiliano and Kalia on the way.
In the semifinal, the challenge was to make a charlotte, a classic of French pastry; an apple pie, from American cuisine, and a cake rogel, typical of Argentina. All this in a time of two and a half hours.
“I’m excited. Without words … I never imagined being in the final of Bake Off. It was unthinkable. I’m happy,” said Carlos, a native of Tierra del Fuego, after knowing his pass to the final.
Carlos is a primary school teacher. He is a very competitive person who likes challenges and always wants to improve his performance. As he told in the first show, he likes fun facts, gardening, and history.
“I can’t believe it. It’s a mixture of happiness and nerves. I’m very happy,” Facundo said through tears. “I am very excited,” he added.
Facundo, 25, studies Industrial Engineering and is also a provincial swimming champion. In addition, he has enough time to dedicate himself to pastry in an amateur way.
It should be remembered that the last winner was Rosario Damián Pier Basile consecrating himself as the winner, after the disqualification -with controversy- of Samantha Couples, after verifying his professional experience in pastry. The “triumph” of Samanta had been filtered before, to prevent that from happening the production of the culinary cycle made the decision to imitate MasterChef Celebrity and record two endings. Only the jury knows the name of the winner. Finalists and viewers will only find out about the result when it airs.
