Daniel Goldberg, known among other things as the producer of the “Hangover” films, is dead. He died in Los Angeles at the age of 74, as confirmed by director Jason Reitman (45). The filmmaker is the son of “Ghostbusters” director Ivan Reitman (1946-2022), who Goldberg met in college in the 1960s.
Goldberg directed many comedies
Daniel Goldberg and Ivan Reitman worked together on films for more than 30 years. Among other things, they continued the comedies “I think a moose is snogging me!” (1981) and Baby Fat and Meatballs (1979) which starred Bill Murray (72). While Reitman directed this, Goldberg served as a producer and co-wrote the screenplays.
In addition, the deceased has been responsible for numerous other comedies over the past few decades, including “Space Jam” with basketball superstar Michael Jordan (60) and “Old School” with Luke Wilson (51) and Will Ferrell (55).
