Winter holidays: 4 activities to do at the Anne Frank Center

Guided tours of the Anne Frank Museum

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. General admission costs $900 and $750 for teachers, students and retirees. On Friday the entrance has a 2×1 promotion. Guided tours take in four rooms with original Frank family objects, the only recreation of the Secret Annex, and the original chestnut tree Anne Frank used to write to in her diary.

Sample: Stories of disobedience in the midst of horror

During the days that the Museum will remain open, you can visit the exhibition Stories of disobedience in the midst of horror. Choosing human dignity, which tells five personal stories: that of Wilhelm Hosenfeld, Hans Calmeyer, Heinz Drossel, Dimitar Peshev and Karl Plagge. In addition, quotes from Rolf Mengele, Katrin Himmler, Niklas Frank and Rainer Höss are compiled from their place of relatives of Nazi officers. A tour that seeks to make the visitor reflect on significant facts of Human Rights violations.

Theater: The tree window and Anne Frank

Every Saturday in July at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday 7/18 at 5:00 p.m. and Thursday 7/27 at 5:00 p.m. tree window and Anne Frank tells the story of Eva, a high school student who has to do practical work and finds in Ana’s Diary the way to tell her classmates what mark she wants to leave on them. The play is by Gustavo Gersberg, adapted and directed by Marcia Alejandra Rago, with an original idea by Héctor Shalom and performed by Clementina Mourier.

Virtual Open Museum

7/15 at 3:00 p.m., by Zoom and for all of Latin America, free. So that more and more people from Argentina and Latin America know the story of Anne Frank and its implications for our days, we launched the Virtual Museum, an interactive experience with live guides. In this edition of the Open Museum, admission will be free, although with prior registration.
