The Tapalqué Hot Springs are inaugurated today

From today, the town of Tapalqué will have hot springs to offer tourism. Located a few blocks from the city center, the new proposal adds to the local tourist offer that invites you to visit it a few kilometers from the Capital (270) and very close to the heart of the Province of Buenos Aires on RP 51, limiting with the municipalities of Olavarría, Azul, Bolívar, Las Flores and General Alvear.

The opening will have a protocol act, ribbon cutting and inaugural event that will include music, dance, lights, artists and the opening of the first spaces for businesses on the property. The people and special guests will be able to participate freely to learn about the facilities, which cannot be used that day.

The first stage includes the Plaza de Agua, surrounded by the commercial sector where there will be stores of different items such as fast food, kiosk, massages and cosmiatry with aromatherapy and natural cosmetics, rental of robes and sale of clothing, sale of handicrafts and regional products.

The star of this stage is the covered swimming pool sector, spacious and comfortable, which has four thermal water pools, some of which have seats, Jacuzzi, swan necks, hydrojet, all with very accessible entrance. The architecture of the complex is designed from the perspective of accessibility. The bathrooms are fully equipped with showers, changing rooms, lockers that are also accessible, there will be toilets with facilities for people with disabilities. Everything will have a permanent lifeguard, nursing and information service about the hot springs.

The mega-complex will continue to develop and in a second stage, already well under way, it will add the sector of outdoor children’s pools, with a playground and rest area. Then there will be three passive pools, with a snack area, rest area and restrooms.

The entire property occupies a total of 17 very green hectares, surrounded by trees, which in a third stage will have hotels with cabins, more gastronomy places and the spa.

“This dream, come true, has been a path of a lot of work and effort and commitment on the part of different actors, especially Mayor Gustavo Cocconi, who from the beginning worked hard to achieve the agreement with Segemar and the National Mining Secretariat. with whom the first agreement was established to carry out the studies that facilitated the installation of hot springs in this area. Then they worked with the Ministry of Economy on a preliminary project carried out by UMPRE, who designed this masterplan hand in hand with many professionals and finally the Toma technical office that transformed it into this complex that opens its doors with great enthusiasm for the future” said the Director of Tourism of the Municipality Lala Baciocco.

“We hope, as a tourist destination, that people who come to Tapalqué to see our hot springs and also enjoy a whole town that worked hard to be prepared to receive them with our nature, culture, popular festivals, gastronomy, our idiosyncrasy. We hope that you can take advantage of all this way of being that we have in our inland towns where, without a doubt, we are warm, friendly, we invite you to have a mate at sunset, watch the kids run free without fear of safety and we offer ourselves so that get the rest that everyone is looking for when they arrive,” added the official.
