The film is the directorial debut of the screenwriter Lindsey Beersacts as a prequel to King’s Pet Sematary and is based on an untold chapter written by the writer of Item. He has previously called it his scariest property.


What Pet Sematary: Bloodlines is about
The film follows a young Jud Crandall in 1969, who dreams of leaving his hometown behind, but soon discovers sinister secrets buried within and is forced to confront a dark family history that will keep him forever connected to the city. Together, Jud and his childhood friends must battle an ancient evil that has haunted Ludlow since its founding and, once discovered, has the power to destroy everything in its path.

The film stars jackson white (Tell Me Lies) Forrest Goodluck (The Revenant), Jack Mulhern (Mare of Easttown), henrythomas (The Fall of the House of Usher), Natalie Alyn Lind (The Goldbergs) and ISabella Star LaBlanc (True Detective: Night Country), with Pam Grier (Cinnamon) and David Duchovny (Californication) also participating. The film is directed by Beer and written by Beer and Jeff Buhler. The producers are Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian.
pet sematary will appear in the collection Paramount+ Peak Screaming which selects horror movies and Halloween episodes of TV series.
It will launch on October 6 in the US, Canada, Latin America, and Brazil, and the following day in other international markets.
