Is Oasis back?: they affirm that “the path is clear”

The leader of blur, Damon Albarnaffirmed that he believes that “the way is clear” for a meeting of Oasis.

His comments came just days after Blur began their own comeback tour in their hometown of Colchester.

“I can guarantee that they will reform,” Albarn said. to The Sun about the chances of the Gallaghers ending their ongoing feud. “In fact, I’ve put money into it.”

In a new interview with Consequence, Albarn elaborated on his previous speculation about the possibility of a reunion.

“Well, of course they are going to. The way is clear for them to do so now. I think that’s great. You know what I mean? Obviously, I look forward to an excellent new record to accompany it.”said.

Three years ago, in a cover interview with NME, Liam Gallagher said that an Oasis reunion “is going to happen very soon”. In January, Noel claimed that he would “never say never” to the idea. However, shortly after Liam accused his brother of doing “a lot of damage” to the brand.

The latest statements by Noel Gallagher about a possible Oasis reunion

Speaking to NME In Conversation last month about fellow Britpop Blur and Pulp’s comeback shows, Noel said: “Blur never broke up, did they? Pulp never broke up, they just went off and did other things, which is the adult way to do it. Sadly my damn band was far from grown up about it. It was a little more crash and burn.”

When asked if Oasis had ever been made an offer for a Britpop reunion tour package with other bands, perhaps even a cruise, Gallagher said that “inevitably, it will happen”, but that “there has never been a serious offer on ‘The Big'”. O’ get back together, but there you have it”.
