What happened? The designer wanted to reproduce Michelangelo’s famous Pieta sculpture for a picture at an art exhibition in Düsseldorf. His girlfriend Electra Elite (45) should sit on a table as Madonna, he should lie on her lap as Jesus. But while the two were still practicing the right pose, the table collapsed and the two fell to the ground. Glööckler severely injured his finger. However, the wound could be treated with a plaster. The designer was very brave and said: “We don’t have to make a drama out of it now. There are people who have worse problems.” No sooner said than done: the designer continued the shoot, which was moved to a more stable sofa.
The docu-soap “Herr Glööckler sucht das Glück” started on July 12 (Wednesdays at 9:15 p.m., RTLzwei). The designer celebrates his TV comeback in six episodes. The Munich broadcaster promised in advance that the series would show the 58-year-old “more openly than ever before”. The big topic is the separation from Dieter Schroth (74) and the start of a new life after love.
