Christopher Nolan talked about the possibility of directing a James Bond movie

Nolan added that he felt a similar responsibility when he signed on to direct his series of Batman. However, he concluded that if he is going to get involved in any project, he must be fully accepted as creative.

“You wouldn’t want to take a movie without being fully committed to what you bring to the table creatively. So as a writer, casting, everything, it’s a complete package.”, said. “You would have to be really needed and wanted in terms of bringing the totality of what you bring to a character. Otherwise, I’m very happy to be first in line to see whatever they do.”

“I have spoken with producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson over the years. I deeply love the character, and I’m always excited to see what they do with him,” she said. “Maybe one day that will work. You would have to be necessary, if you know what I mean.
