Human rights activist Malala Yousafzai is under the hood. She shared the good news on the day of the marriage.
The well-known human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai (24, “I am Malala”) got married on Tuesday (November 9th). She communicated this to her followers via social media. Today marks “a precious day in my life”, she wrote next to several photos of the wedding ceremony.

the 24-year-old shared two snapshots of herself and her husband Asser in festive clothes in front of an autumn landscape. In addition to the same recordings, two more can be seen, on which Yousafzai’s parents Ziauddin Yousafzai (52) and Toor Pekai Yousafzai can be seen. The photos also show the moment of the marriage ceremony, which took place in Yousafzai’s adopted city of Birmingham, England.
“Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life,” commented the young woman, who is originally from Pakistan, in her post. She and her husband are “excited” to “walk the journey that lies ahead of us together”.

Malala’s father Ziauddin Yousafzai shared his daughter’s mail and congratulated her with loving words: “There are no words. Toor Pekai and I are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude.” Yousafzai’s Instagram post also commented on numerous well-wishers, including climate protection activist Greta Thunberg (18). She posted three red heart emojis and a simple “Congratulations!”
