The solo version of the classic Pink Floyd album will be available from October.
The English musician, Roger Watersannounced that the departure of “The Dark Side of the Moon Redux”his solo version of the emblematic album by Pink Floyd that turns half a century, will be next October 6.

The first single from the album, a cover of the acclaimed “Money” is now available in audio and video on digital platforms. There, Waters replaces the voice and guitar of his former partner, david gilmourwith a “whisper spoken”.


At the same time as he announced the record’s release, Waters shared an interview on YouTube in which he talks about the concept and has some of the new music playing in the background.
There, Waters sees the album’s 50th anniversary as an opportunity to “reimagine” and “celebrate” the record’s survival by doing a different version: “Not to replace it but to remember it and as a complement”.
“I love the original recording, by the way, and I love what Nicky (Mason) did and what Rick (Wright) did and what Dave did on the original recording,” he continued. And he added that “the new recording is a more reflective and reinterpretation” of the original album.
