The Congress Orchestra presents a concert with a focus on Italian composers

The National Congress Chamber Orchestra will present with free admission next Friday, July 28, “Italian Airs”, a concert that will have a tour of the work of Giuseppe Verdi, Gaetano Donizetti, Ottorino Respighi and Luis Sammartino.

The show will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Pasos Perdidos hall of the legislative palace and will have an ensemble directed by Sebastiano De Filippi and the participation as guest soloist of Guadalupe Barrientos, mezzo-soprano from the Teatro Colón.

Made up of twenty string musicians, the Chamber Orchestra of Congress is a stable musical organization with 33 seasons of experience and distinctions on three consecutive occasions as the best chamber orchestra in the country for the Association of Music Critics of Argentina.
