Music festival: Tokio Hotel cancels festival gig, Heidi Klum watches

Concert bankruptcy: The model mom has made herself extra chic to cheer, but the band is struggling with technical problems and cannot finish their program.

Heidi Klum accompanied her husband Tom Kaulitz to the performance of his band Tokio Hotel at the music festival Deichbrand. But the band had to deal with technical problems on Friday evening at the festival site at the seaport of Cuxhaven/Nordholz (district of Cuxhaven) and was only able to complete part of their program.

“We’re really sorry. We’ve prepared such a great set for you,” said singer Bill Kaulitz. “We’re not even halfway there. But unfortunately we have to get off the stage right away.” Then Tokio Hotel played the hit “Through the Monsoon”.

During the show, which was supposed to last about an hour, the singer said: “This is our very first festival in Germany ever.” Because of the technical problems, many fans left this concert.

Heidi Klum – in a black and white outfit and with large sunglasses – went up the stairs to the stage with the band. In her Instagram story she then shared videos taken next to the stage.

According to the organizer, tickets for the four-day Deichbrand Festival are sold out this year. Tokio Hotel are also expected as a music act at Christopher Street Day in Berlin on Saturday.
