Prince George was born on July 22, 2013 in London’s St. Mary’s Hospital. Today he is ten years old – and looks almost like his father in the new portrait photo.
A radiant boy and in all likelihood Britain’s next but one king: Britain’s Prince George turned ten on Saturday.
To celebrate the day, Kensington Palace released a new portrait photo of the eldest son of heir apparent Prince William and Princess Kate (both 41) on social media. On it, George is sitting on a stone staircase and smiling happily at the camera. He is wearing a blue and white checked shirt and teal trousers. A clear resemblance to his father can be seen in his facial features. He was photographed by portrait specialist Millie Pilkington.
Prince George was born on July 22, 2013 in London’s St. Mary’s Hospital. In the line of succession to the British throne is the grandson of King Charles III. (74) in second place behind his father. George has two younger siblings, Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5).
