With guided tours and a meeting to read poetry and stories, the Evita Museum will commemorate on July 26, the figure of Eva Perón on the 71st anniversary of her death.

On Wednesday at 4:00 p.m., there will be a special guided tour of the permanent exhibition, to learn about the legacy of Eva Perón with a tour that includes personal objects, photos, and publications about her life and work.
Meanwhile, the meeting of poetry and stories “Evita: A Live Reading” will take place at 6:00 p.m., with the participation of Nara Carreira, Zuleika Esnal, Juan Carrá, Natalia Bericat, Nina Ferrari, Camila Milagros, Samantha San Romé, Sol Santalucía and Agus Justin. In a collective reading, the writers will read the poem “Eva” by María Elena Walsh, in the Cristina Banfi auditorium of the Museum with free admission and limited capacity.
In addition, the art workshops for children continue, in which the participants reproduce Eva’s expressions with different materials, motivated by the works of the temporary exhibition “Homage”, by the artist Rodolfo Zagert, made up of profiles and portraits of Evita from different eras.
The workshops are held on Tuesday 25 and Thursday 27, from 4 to 6 pm, with limited space.
Meanwhile, on Saturday and Sunday, there are free guided tours for the general public, with tours in Spanish at 4:00 p.m.
The Evita Museum “is the cultural space where people can feel, know and understand the history of Eva Perón, a woman who became a symbol of global recognition, associated with the struggles for equality, which even today continues to be an inspirational value for the new generations. That is why today, 71 years after her death, we continue to seek opportunities to reflect on her life, her time and the ways to promote her legacy”, they reported from that cultural space.
The Evita Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Lafinur 2988, in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
