“Poor life”: Ruth Moschner’s emotional message against bodyshaming

The presenter, actress and writer Ruth Moschner addresses her fans and followers with strong words. With her #teamruth, she is taking a stand against bodyshaming.

With an Instagram post, TV presenter Ruth Moschner calls in very emotional terms to be more careful and more sensitive with comments on the subject of bodyshaming.

She “has the feeling that a compliment from the heart is not that easy. On Instagram, which is the online platform on which I mainly flaunt myself and also comment on others, it is of course obvious due to the focus on photos to hang around on the outside, “she wrote on Instagram.

Ruth Moschner: “Hate comments have no: r gladly”

Problematic is the hatred that often occurs very quickly when someone does not like a post or perhaps a detail of a photo: “No hate comments, I guess. Even if we now know that the so-called trolls are a much poorer one Lead lives as their supposed victims. ” No nice person would “think of spreading hatred and bullying around”, adds the moderator.

But in the case of supposedly positive comments, there is the risk of focusing too much on them, “Because even if it is meant to elevate someone for his / her appearance with words, we all don’t know how they feel really feels, and how it went there. Maybe it triggers people to be praised for their weight loss because they are going through an illness. Maybe for the first time someone didn’t worry about avoiding catcalling, and then something comes to the ‘ hot butt ‘”.

With these words, she apparently hit the mark with her fans. Many of her followers joined her call under the hashtag #teamruth to be more careful and cautious when classifying social media posts. “Just thank you for this really important statement,” commented a user under Moschner’s appeal. She is “definitely in favor of it being discussed more”.

The user @ nora.bora0711 added the “great challenge” with compliments to Ruth Moschner: “Because you are a person who has incredible radiance from within; not least because of your convictions and your commitment to a positive / more positive togetherness.”
