Paris Hilton married her boyfriend Carter Reum in a grand ceremony. But the party is far from over with the actual wedding ceremony.
When Paris Hilton gets married, it’s a bigger spectacle than an easy walk to the registry office. The hotel heiress put her marriage to Carter Reum under the motto “Paris in Love”. But until shortly before the marriage on November 11th. it was not clear where the wedding should take place at all.
Paris Hilton got married
Ultimately, they got married in the property of their late grandfather Barron in Bel Air, and the party will continue there over the weekend. “It changed about a week ago. It changed several times,” an insider told the Page Six portal. “They originally wanted to get married in church, but they changed it about a week ago.” There should have been a lot of question marks not only with regard to the location.
Even Hilton’s wedding dress wasn’t a sure thing until recently. Because the bride was allegedly not sure whether she wanted a dress from Valentino or from Oscar de la Renta. Apparently the decision was made in favor of a creation by de la Renta. On Instagram, Hilton posted a photo of himself in a wedding dress with a veil in front of his eyes.
Great secrecy
There were apparently no questions about her maid of honor and the bridesmaids. Her sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild made Paris the first maid of honor. Bridesmaids were groom Carter Reum’s sister, Halle Hammond, Paris’ sister-in-law Tessa Hilton, and her cousins Whitney Davis and Farrah Aldjufrie. All bridesmaids wore specially made pink dresses by the label Alica + Olivia.
The top-class guests on the first evening included singer Paula Abdul, Kim Kardashian, actress Emma Roberts and star designer Rachel Zoe.
In the run-up to the wedding, a secret was made for security reasons. For a long time, save-the-date cards and invitations did not contain an exact location or address. Even fans will soon be able to get a glimpse of the millionaire wedding: at the ceremony, Hilton’s series “Paris in Love” was filmed.
