The Italian revealed a lot about herself in an interview. What she does when she’s not on stage.
The Italian pop singer Laura Pausini (49) likes to spend her time in bed. “I love spending time in bed. I sleep in bed, work in bed, read in bed, write in bed… And I hate the dawn,” the Grammy-winning actress told Spanish newspaper El Mundo ‘ when asked about her hobbies.
Pausini also revealed that she loves to eat but can’t cook at all, that she loves horoscopes and likes to try out different styles of music. But reggaeton is not one of them. “I don’t like songs with lyrics that contain profanity, that encourage use of drugs or violence, that sell explicit sex. I don’t like them, I don’t listen to them and of course I wouldn’t sing them.”
The mother of a ten-year-old has sold more than 75 million records worldwide. She has won several Latin Grammys and became the first Italian ever to receive a Grammy Award when she won the Best Latin Pop Album category for “Resta in Ascolto” in 2006. Pausini also has many fans in Germany, but she is a superstar above all in her homeland and in southern Europe, including Spain and Portugal.
